PORT ST. LUCIE — An 8-year-old girl was hit by a car Saturday afternoon while riding a skateboard, said St. Lucie County Fire District spokeswoman Catherine Chaney.Shortly after noon, the girl was riding her skateboard when she was hit by a car in the 1100 block of S.E.
