So I shot this sequence with Fletcher about a month ago at this Museum in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Those who watch the news or read the newspaper have undoubtedly seen photos of the flood and/or read stories about it. When we shot the photo the river was getting pretty high and I remember Eric saying it’s the highest he remember seeing it. Tonight I was looking at some photos online of the floods and came across this.

Gotta love it. “Skateboarding” on the cover of Time Magazine used as a prop in a story about America’s fat kids. Maybe that fool should push around a little bit. There’s no full size image, but you get the idea.

Just to add to the Vincanity a little. This is a sequence that didn’t make Vincent’s interview in the mag. It took Vincent all of a weekend to bang out four great sequences in Sacto and Fresno not to long ago. Vincent is pretty much the man.

July 11-13 in Morro Bay on the Central California coast. Professional and Amateur Slalom and Downhill skateboarders from around the world will be racing.

im SURE you have seen and are totally sick of the posts of all the Lizard Pin-Up art shows, and i hate to say it, but there will be a few more to come. i guess i had better make sure you all know where to get these prints if you want them…
